Kaoru is, for better or worse, a serious person. There were several scenes where she regretted being with multiple people. The endings where Kaoru truly smiles are two: one where she hasn’t been with anyone but the protagonist, and another. I found out later in the afterword—or rather, after the credits—that Kaoru was also happy when she became Ougou Kaito’s woman, having only been with him.

“I’ve already slept with her, anyway…”

Honestly, even in my memories, I have a clear memory of sleeping with Kaoru. I only remember the start of the fastest NTR route, so it’s vague, but for Kaoru to be truly happy, I have no choice but to corrupt her.
