Hikari Wingart, Count’s Daughter
“I’m Hikari Wingart!”
I gave my name to Prince Leon, and finally, we properly acknowledged each other.
That didn’t mean it suddenly developed into romance, of courseâafter all, it was just five-year-old Prince Leon and four-year-old me.
We ran around energetically, and that was that.

“Please let me see the letter!”

“His Grace the Duke of Serelite is coming. Let’s get you all dressed up right away!”
“He’s coming tomorrow, though…?”
Head butler, are you perhaps a bit incompetent? I asked to see the letter, so why are we talking about dressing up now?
“If you’d like, please call me Muze, Lady Hikari.”

“Good.”
“What do you mean ‘good’? Are you an idiot?”
Charlotte’s comebacks are surprisingly sharp, aren’t they?
“More importantly, the letter, right? It might be a little difficult for you to read.”

I hugged Mother tightly, forcing down my uncontrollable excitement.

Aria-chan was supposed to come in the afternoon, and Hikari-chan had been restless since morning.
“Mommy! I wanna get dressed up!”

“Then, shall we try some makeup?”

Mother led me to a corner of my usual bedroom that I’d never been to before.
“Now then, let’s get you all dressed up!”
She sat me down in a chair and I stared at the mirror.

She’s five, you know? Her features are incredibly well-defined! She’s going to be a total heart breaker in the future!

What is this fair, smooth skin?
What are these big, round navy blue eyes?

“Alright then, let’s start your makeover!”
My fully motivated mother picked up makeup tools I recognized and began applying them to me.
