System Mission Released!

What was this situation now?

Were they actually living together?

Su Yuzhi’s mind went blank.

The treehouses in the Leopard Tribe were actually quite spacious, measuring over one hundred square meters.

Since most females had more than one mate, the houses were built as large as possible, with extra room left for future expansion.

There was also a considerable distance between each house, with nearly fifty meters separating them.

He built a simple partition inside the house, dividing it into two sections.

About seventy percent of the space belonged to Su Yuzhi, while the remaining thirty percent became his.

He even found time to collect some vines and weave a pair of sandals for her.

Male beastmen didn’t need shoes because their thick skin protected their feet.

Females, however, were different.

Their skin was delicate and required careful protection.

That was why females usually accepted the thoughtful gifts offered by males courting them.

Rather than refusing outright, they would observe whether the male was capable of becoming a good mate.

After all, females carried the responsibility of bearing children and required attentive care.

Su Yuzhi was delighted when she received the pair of woven sandals.

She had been wondering whether she would have to walk barefoot tomorrow.

She never expected Claire to make her a pair so quickly.

It couldn’t have come at a better time.

Although they had only known each other for a single day, Claire’s careful attention and considerate personality already made her heart race.

Having a movie-star-level handsome man showering her with care and affection made it incredibly difficult not to be moved.

Still, they had only met one day ago.

For someone like Su Yuzhi, who had never been in a relationship before, it was still impossible to accept him that quickly.

Although she now understood some of the Beast World’s customs and knew that some females and males became mates shortly after meeting, she still couldn’t adapt to that way of thinking.

After wishing each other good night, Su Yuzhi lay down on the simple bed made of straw.

She actually wanted to find somewhere to bathe.

However, she felt that she had already troubled Claire enough today and was too embarrassed to ask him to take her to find a place to wash.

Because of their beast forms, most male beastmen disliked bathing.

They frequently groomed themselves by licking their fur, or their fur naturally cleaned itself, so they rarely became dirty.

However, after finding a mate, they would consciously bathe every day and also prepare bathwater for their female, since females generally loved cleanliness.

Claire lacked experience simply because he had never had a mate before.

To her surprise, the entire backpack occupied only one slot, and the items inside weren’t separated.

She immediately took everything back out, placed the book inside the backpack, and then stored the backpack again.

That saved one storage slot!

Looking more carefully, she found a line of text at the bottom of the storage interface.

Items may not exceed one cubic meter in size. Storage capacity can be expanded after upgrading.

Both the mission page and the shop were completely empty.

After searching for a long time without finding anything else, Su Yuzhi eventually gave up.

She comforted herself by assuming that she simply hadn’t met the activation requirements yet.

Thinking that, she slowly drifted off to sleep.

Early the next morning, as the first rays of dawn appeared, Su Yuzhi’s body woke up before her mind had fully become alert.

Although yesterday had been exhausting, she had gone to bed fairly early.

“Mission Released. Beginner Mission 1: Obtain the seeds of three edible plants. Reward: 5 points.”

Su Yuzhi immediately opened the system interface.

The mission page had refreshed.

So had the System Shop.

There were only three items available in the shop.

Perhaps because she had only recently bound the system, all three were marked as beginner discounts.

Each item originally cost 5 points.

The original price was crossed out with a red line, and beside it was a large number:

Forest Map.

Rice Seeds.

Seasoning Gift Pack.

There was also a refresh countdown beside them, showing seven days remaining.

Meanwhile, her current point balance was a big fat zero.

Su Yuzhi tried calling out to the system several times, but there was no response.

She guessed that this wasn’t an intelligent system and couldn’t converse with her.

Just as she was studying the system, Claire returned from his early morning hunt.
